To decide the winner at the conclusion of each round or game session, rummy players must keep track of their points. Each card has a distinct point value; numbered cards are wromi modernorth their face value (2–10 points), while face cards (Kings, Queens, and Jacks) usually carry higher values (10 points). Depending on the rules being followed, an ace can be worth one point or eleven points.
